Moody Residence, Highlands, Breckenridge

We're proud to present the Moody residence, completed Summer of 2016, and an award-winning entrant in this fall's Parade of Homes!

At just over 3,500 square feet, this home was designed to be the permanent home for new Breckenridge residents who, as outdoor enthusiasts, were drawn to the area’s endless outdoor opportunities. They worked extensively with architect Michael Gallagher and New West Partners to build a home with minimum environmental impact that’s also perfect for an active couple.

The home boasts a HERS index score in the low 20s thanks to WaterSense certification, LED lighting, green insulation techniques and aesthetically-integrated solar panels pre-wired for net zero energy use. Its main level highlights a sunny great room with tall ceilings, a large entertainment island and low CO(2) emission wood stove to compliment the in-floor radiant heat. With its main floor master, the owners are able to live entirely on the main level and age in place.

It's an honor to be recognized by our peers in the industry for our work and collaboration with talented vendors, subcontractors, and the clients—who have become great friends along the way.
